The room's underfloor heating was off upon arrival, made the room chilly. It then became excessively hot at 5:30 AM. A fellow guest knocked persistently at our door at 7:20 AM searching for "reception". The staff offered only a simple apology regarding my disturbed sleep and noted that the night porter (who typically manages the heating) was absent, I found this unacceptable.

we booked beautiful family room nightjar's nest, and it had comfy beds. i noticed the hotel is spotlessly clean and bright. i loved the quirky, high quality, original features, they are amazing! the staff was so friendly too, and always there to help. what a joy!
the underfloor heating in the bedroom wasn't working when we arrived. it was quite chilly in the evening, a shame! then, there was this odd knock at the door really early, like 7:20 am. a fellow-guest said she was looking for 'reception,' which i found a bit strange.
